eyeris is a little shit who's mainly lying and spreading fake news for treatments and money.she's infected by the parasite but stabilized (mainly thanks to adam newmann who's been giving her treatments in exchange of her services, here : continuing to lock up anderson in his fake reality made by his father.she's a TV host with anderson and the reason why anderson stays in deny of everything.

anderson's a popular TV host and adam newmann's son.his father was known to be a major owner of the world's largest television networks at the time.anderson was artificially conceived (i mean, his father had a combination of the best genes compatible with his own created in a lab) in order to have the "perfect" child.
then he spent 16 years of his life conditioning his son in an extremely controlled environment to make him a perfect TV 'puppet'. (newmann had a serious problem with perfect things).he went so far that anderson became just the perfect host on the TV studios, but is unable to function normally as a human being off the studios.

amber is a botanist who grew in a weird family with an abusive father and a mom who wanted a girl. so he was raised like an abused girl.his father used to go too far with him, but amber let that slide. he eventually killed his father after he learned enough to survive with what he was teaching him to do. his mother, when she learned what her husband did to her son, h@nged herself.amber ran away from home at 16 and ended up on the street, later stumbling upon an old abandoned greenhouse which he renovated into a home surrounded by plants and insects. he will spend years studying nature in the greatest calm and patience before meeting randomly a guy named alec.amber will give alec his full trust, almost falling in love with him before alec locked him up in the research center where he worked to use him as a test (after forcing him to talk about his past), finding him "interesting" (ultimately out of curiosity rather than malice).to make it quick, amber will end up killing alec after things go too far. (amber will excuse alec multiple times for what he did before he finally snaps).

this is a very broad simplification of the story, feel free to interpret it as you wish.
ace's close and far from god at the same time. his mother wanted him sacrificed when he was a child, and that happened.ace returned to life in another body approximately 1 years after his sacrifice and is therefore in possession of that body.unique characteristic: he is immortal to nature, however, he will die if killed by a human hand.he is extremely paranoid due to his immortality and refuses almost everyone to get close of him.
he's also the cult's leader (and foundator ; the pureists) in 1897.
because of his serious paranoia, he develops his cult around extreme control and mass surveillance.

she's also ace's favorite lamb (and toy).she's extremely adaptive, so ace uses her as a spy (thing she totally agrees with), because her lamb traits allows her to blend into the crowd.

he's also close to "god" due to his divine form, along with the thing.ⓘ : he can't wear clothes due to his intolerance to clothes.aeden's very close to ace and really thinks he's in a relationship with him. he fears that ace would'nt love him. ace uses this vulnerability to control him, while making him believe that they are in this completely fictional relationship that aeden imagines to be.there's not much about his past, as he's considered as a divine creature.

raphael is the main character of the lore, and a victim of the actions of the cult as well as ace. he is related to adah, considering her his best friend in the cult, and is unaware that she's spying for ace.he's in the cult since he's 8 and doesn't remember much about his past before.
raph's extremely anxious and easily scared of everything, and probably traumatized by what he saw here.without being special, and like many other lambs here, raphael has seen and endured many things he shouldn't have had to experience as a living being.unlike many other lambs who eventually "adapted," raphael didn't and is considered a special, or interesting, case by the priests of the cult.
which, obviously, is a bad sign.

not much about her. she's a priest of the cult.sixter experiences a lot of hallucinations due to the drugs she takes to stay calm and serious.otherwise, she can be really funny (she uses a lot of dark humor) despite the fact that she doesn't feel emotions for real. she's one of the priests (those who restore order within the sect under ace's command).

wow.. another divine creature..their design was supposed to be originally naked (under no circumstances should this be considered within the context of perverse or inappropriate ideas) because (like their pal) they cannot tolerate clothing due to the material. they're directly linked to god and ace, and are considered as sacred.

anie thinks her reality is a lie, or that her brain invented it volundarily and she doesn't know about it.
this stems from an upbringing where she learned that her reality didn't exist, and that every thought was a lie she shouldn't listen to.
the only reality is that of the adult, the one who knows.

eddie's been trapped in a fragmented memories of his own for decades. a headspace with nothing but the darkness and his own abusive house to live in, a house that no longer exists in reality.
he is unable to look at himself in a mirror, risking breaking it because of his memory being incomplete.eddie's headspace can be imagined as a lucid dream that never ends. his identity being fragmented/unknown.his brain created hallucinations to adapt to this extreme situation.
since a human being is a social being, the deprivation of social contact and light forced him to create these hallucinations, which then became a real part of his life.

eleanor has a serious problem managing her emotions and obsessions due to childhood trauma related to repeated abandonment.here, she develops a massive obsession with gasper, whom she unintentionally places as her favorite person.
despite the toxic behaviors she displays towards her boyfriend, she loves him with all the love and passion possible, but also with the terrible fear that he will disappear or try to run away.by living in this fear, eleanor learns to watch for gasper's every move and behavior, and will eventually come to hate him after he behaves a little less enthusiastically towards her, thus wanting to kill him to keep him by her side.

piko is a fucking medical anomaly but also our vent character.he appeared in songs like "untitled #1", "outside", "i looked down at the floor and tore out my eyes", and "i should be asleep" as a main character desperately trying to live despite the behavior, reprimands and control that parental authority has over him.he will often represent an abomination/a 'monster' despite his human form, and is often described as having weird and questionable manners.

charlotte is a bot with damaged functions, hence its warranty was reduced to 6 years instead of 18.its malfunction stemmed from the system core, making it technically impossible to repair. but its owners attempted to clear the system error after the owner's wife (a billionaire, like many bot owners) had a breakdown.attempting to repair it at the end of its warranty, and despite charlotte's pleas, the owners tampered with the system core and destroyed it, before throwing it out on the street with the garbage.charlotte wakes up two years later, malfunctioning but still able to speak, and now fully aware of its condition.
it will therefore tell the story to other bots before starting a war.
